Hajime Sorayama’s First 2021 Exhibition “Dinosauria”

Hajime Sorayama will have his latest work exhibited at the Nanzuka 2G in Shibuya this week.

Starting from 17 Feb 2021 to 7 Mar 2021, Nanzuka 2G will exhibit the artist’s latest dinosaur works in the “Dinosauria” solo exhibition at the Parco building in Shibuya Tokyo.

The artist has been enthusiastic about dinosaurs (as well as the sexy robots the artist have created since the 80s) as we have seen in many of the artist’s work the T-rex was widely applied not only in drawings, but also in the 2019 collaboration with the fashion giant Dior in the 2019 AW menswear collection. This exhibition will include robotised dinosaurs such as Raptors, Triceratops and Tyrannosarus.

These works will be collaborating with the upcoming Jurassic World movie and will also be released in T-shirt forms in March 2021 under Uniqlo’s UT line.

More info to be updated as we are closer to the opening of the exhibition.
