No Art Here

Javier Calleja is an uprising star artist and the latest exhibition collaboration with the renowned Japanese gallery Nanzuka at the 2G gallery proves again to be another thrill ride.

Despite the COVID19 pandemic, Javier Calleja’s latest “No Art Here” exhibition brings a lot of smiles to our faces - just as what the world is missing these days. With the latest showing, the artist has a 6 foot sculpture of the artist’s iconic boy holding the sign for the show of the same name and it is most notable where the arm traverses across the room - something the artist want to capture in terms of traversing through dimensions and put the viewing to a whole new level of perspectives. At the same time, there are additional pieces of canvas work for showing all executed in the artist’s renowned playful and cheerful style.

For those fortunate to be in Japan right now, the show is opened until 20 December.
