A Closer Look: Undercover 30th X The Soloist Leather Jacket

Needless to emphasise, both brands holds symbolic values when it comes to attention to details and the playful multi-function pieces by both Undercover and Soloist where assembling and dissembling are some of the core principles both brands hold during the creative process.

With the last collaboration between both brands in the Amazon runway project, namely Order/Disorder (and Disorder), both brands are at the pinnacle of the top Japanese brands out there due to the unique visions and designs Jun Takahashi (Undercover) and Takahiro Miyashita (The Soloist) holds dearly.

The latest collaborated efforts between both brands show a lot of functionality where the hood pieces could be constructed to a visor type mask with a mouth covering - perfect for the current covid pandemic if one may add. In addition, the gloves could be detached which makes the whole piece more playful and gives addition value to how one would wear it.

On the back, there is a small print denoting the Soloist brand as well as the title for the piece “attachment” which is a common practice with Mr Miyashita’s Soloist T-shirts.

This leather jacket can be raffled at the undercover website.
